Ex-British police officers admit to racist, offensive messages about Meghan Markle and other royals

Five retired British police officers pleaded guilty to sending racist messages about Meghan Markle and other royals in a private WhatsApp group.
The officers were part of the Metropolitan Police's Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection branch but had left the force when the messages were sent.
The messages referred to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Queen Elizabeth II, and Prince Philip.
The guilty pleas support Prince Harry's previous claims of racism towards Meghan Markle.
Another former officer denied the charges and will stand trial later while the others await sentencing.
