Ex-Boyfriend Charged in 2003 Murder of NYPD Detective's Daughter

New York State Police arrested Edward V. Holley, 42, for the murder of Megan McDonald, the daughter of an NYPD detective.
McDonald and Holley had recently ended a romantic relationship, and Holley owed McDonald money, leading to hostility between them.
Witnesses saw Holley's car following McDonald's the morning she was murdered.
McDonald had reached out to Holley the day before her murder to buy marijuana.
Holley lived 500 feet from where McDonald's abandoned car was found.
