Zhao is barred from managing or operating Binance for three years as part of his 2023 plea deal, which also included a $50 million fine.

Zhao aims to dedicate significant time to Giggle Academy, a nonprofit online education platform offering free education for grades 1-12.
He is also working on a book and plans to increase his involvement in charitable activities.
