Particle News: Ewan McGregor to Receive BAFTA Scotland's Outstanding Contribution Award on Nov. 16

McGregor said he was grateful for the recognition and excited to attend the event, noting he hopes new collaborations may emerge.
BAFTA Scotland director Jude MacLaverty praised McGregor’s enduring appeal and cited his humanitarian work with UNICEF UK.
He previously won BAFTA Scotland awards for Trainspotting (1996) and Young Adam (2003) and earned a nomination for T2: Trainspotting (2017).
The Perthshire-born actor’s three-decade career spans Trainspotting, Moulin Rouge! and Star Wars, and includes an Emmy-winning turn in Netflix’s Halston, plus recent TV roles in Obi-Wan Kenobi and A Gentleman in Moscow.
