Everton Unveils £800m Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium in Test Event

The state-of-the-art 52,888-seat venue welcomed 10,000 fans for its debut match as the club prepares to leave Goodison Park next season.

Everton hosted a test event at their new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, with 10,000 fans attending an under-18 friendly against Wigan Athletic.
The £800m project, completed in December 2024, features a 52,888-seat capacity and is set to host matches at Euro 2028.
The South Stand, designed to create an intense atmosphere, will hold 14,000 fans and includes safe-standing rails, inspired by Borussia Dortmund’s 'Yellow Wall.'
The stadium is expected to contribute £1.3bn to the UK economy and create 15,000 jobs, while also regenerating the surrounding area in Liverpool.
Goodison Park, the club’s home since 1892, will host its final competitive match in May before being redeveloped into a mixed-use site.
