EverPass to Distribute ESPN+ in Bars and Restaurants Under Multiyear ESPN Deal

The agreement strengthens EverPass’s bid to serve businesses as a single aggregator for streaming sports rights.

Overview

  • Beginning in October, EverPass will sell an ESPN+ business package to U.S. commercial venues, adding roughly 2,200 live events per year.
  • The offering includes college football and basketball from major conferences, select NHL regular-season games, international soccer and PGA Tour Live coverage.
  • The pact includes rights to show UFC Fight Nights on ESPN, covering prelims and main cards, through the end of December.
  • Availability of ESPN’s Monday Night Football through EverPass remains unconfirmed according to the companies’ disclosures.
  • The business-focused ESPN+ product is separate from ESPN’s new consumer app, and the deal builds on EverPass’s existing distribution of NFL Sunday Ticket and streamer-exclusive NFL games from YouTube, Prime Video, Peacock and Netflix.
