Overview
- Sydney posted its highest August ADR and RevPAR on record with occupancy at 84.4%, ADR at AUD285.71 and RevPAR at AUD241.18, and it recorded its best August occupancy since 2018.
- The night before the Sydney Marathon delivered 95.1% occupancy with ADR of AUD414.96 and RevPAR of AUD394.76, while the British & Irish Lions Tour final pushed occupancy to 92.8% with ADR of AUD390.18 and RevPAR of AUD361.91.
- Abu Dhabi reached its highest August occupancy on record at 79.3%, with ADR at AED482.32 and RevPAR at AED382.25, and it achieved its highest August ADR and RevPAR since 2008.
- Event spikes in Abu Dhabi included 90.7% occupancy on Aug. 11 before a Limp Bizkit concert and the month’s top RevPAR of AED451.77 on performance night, with ADIHEX’s opening also lifting nightly results.
- A separate Sept. 11 CoStar release said Madrid set record August levels driven by the ESC Congress, logging 65.3% occupancy, ADR of EUR143.11 and RevPAR of EUR93.52.
