Evander Kane Plans 2025 Return to Oilers After Successful Surgery

The Edmonton Oilers forward underwent abdominal surgery and is expected to need five to six months for recovery.

Kane had surgery to repair both abductors, two hernias, and two abdominal tears.
The surgery took place last Friday in New York and was deemed successful.
Kane will be rehabilitating in Edmonton under the Oilers' medical staff.
He recorded 44 points, including 24 goals, in 77 regular-season games.
Kane missed five of the seven games in the Stanley Cup final against the Florida Panthers.
