Evacuation Warnings and Road Closures as Atmospheric River Targets Southern California

  • Evacuation warnings are in effect from 6 p.m. Thursday through 11 a.m. Sunday for multiple Los Angeles City and County burn-scar zones, including Palisades, Hurst, Sunset, Eaton, Kenneth, Canyon, Bethany, Lidia, Franklin and Bridge.
  • Caltrans will close a 3.6-mile stretch of Topanga Canyon Boulevard (SR-27) between Pacific Coast Highway and Grand View Drive beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday, with reopening dependent on conditions.
