Eva Longoria Pledges $1 Million for L.A. Wildfire Relief Efforts

Eva Longoria and her foundation have pledged $1 million to aid victims of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, including the Palisades and Eaton fires.
The funds will be directed to the Latino Community Foundation, led by Julián Castro, and the California Community Foundation to address both immediate relief and long-term recovery needs.
The donation comes from the $50 million Courage and Civility Award Longoria received from Jeff Bezos in 2024, which supports philanthropic efforts over a 10-year period.
Longoria plans to volunteer with Global Empowerment Mission and visit World Central Kitchen to assist with fire relief efforts and support first responders and displaced families.
Over 12,000 structures have been destroyed, thousands displaced, and 24 lives lost in the fires, highlighting the urgent need for relief and recovery support.
