Overview

  • From July 1, Eurosport 1 and 2 will disappear from Sky’s lineup after both parties declined to renew their licence agreement.
  • Sky will introduce four new thematic channels—Sky Sport Basket, Sky Sport Legend, Sky Sport Mix and Sky Adventure—to fill the vacancy.
  • Tennis fans must subscribe to Discovery+, Dazn or Timvision to watch exclusive rights events such as the Australian Open (through 2031) and Roland Garros (through 2030).
  • Warner Bros Discovery holds exclusive streaming rights to all Olympic Games through 2034, making Discovery+ the sole home for upcoming summer and winter editions.
  • Eurosport’s linear viewership is forecast to drop by roughly 75%, since the vast majority of its audience currently tunes in via Sky.
