Lost Shore Surf Resort, a £60 million project, will open on November 11, offering a state-of-the-art wave pool powered by Wavegarden technology.
The resort is expected to attract over 160,000 visitors annually, create more than 130 jobs, and contribute £11 million to the local economy each year.
Located in a former quarry, the facility includes luxury accommodations, dining options, a surf school, and wellness amenities.
The wave pool, three times the size of Wembley Stadium’s pitch, can produce up to 1,000 customizable waves per hour for surfers of all skill levels.
Charitable initiatives like Inclusive Surfing Scotland and the Wave Project will provide adaptive surfing and surf therapy sessions for diverse participants.
