Overview
- Service is planned to start on 26 March 2026 with three weekly trips, with Paris departures on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and Berlin departures on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
- The operator intends to route the train via Brussels, while final timetables, intermediate stops and infrastructure access are still being negotiated with national managers.
- Tickets are expected to go on sale from 16 December 2025, with prices in line with ÖBB’s Nightjet and reports citing entry fares around €59.
- ÖBB will discontinue its Berlin–Paris Nightjet on 14 December 2025, citing the end of French subsidies and operational strains such as extensive German track works.
- European Sleeper, a cooperative that already runs Brussels–Berlin–Prague and reports about 230,000 passengers to date, says the new train will have higher capacity with 12–14 cars carrying 600–700 passengers and will launch without a dining car.
