Overview
- The shortlist features 44 fiction, 15 documentary and eight animated features, with 27 titles directed or co-directed by women and representation from 34 countries.
- Fiction and documentary selections were made by the European Film Academy board with invited experts, with animation chosen in cooperation with CARTOON.
- The Academy’s 5,400 members will vote on European Film, Director, Discovery—Prix Fipresci, Documentary, Animated Feature, Actress, Actor and Screenwriter.
