Eufy and Dreame Debut Stair-Climbing Robot Vacuums at IFA 2025

Early demos center on a separate tracked lift that ferries a detachable cleaner between floors, with retail availability targeted for 2026.

Overview

  • Eufy showcased its Marswalker in Berlin and claims it is the first vacuum robot that can ascend and descend stairs autonomously.
  • The Marswalker docks to a rubber-tracked ferry frame with support arms to climb, then detaches to clean like a standard robot on each level.
  • Dreame unveiled the Cyber X with a “Bionic QuadTrack” lift system rated to handle steps up to 25 centimeters at about 0.2 meters per second.
  • Dreame cites dual 6,400 mAh batteries for both the robot and the lift, enabling cleaning across as many as five floors on a single run.
  • Both brands presented prototypes with pricing unannounced, and coverage notes the industry shift from integrated climbers like Migo’s abandoned project to two-part ferry designs that also 3D-map stairs and return to base stations.
