• The European Commission fined Delivery Hero €223 million and Glovo €106 million after both companies acknowledged their involvement and agreed to settle.
• From 2018 to 2022 the firms agreed not to poach each other’s employees and shared sensitive data on pricing, promotions and delivery networks via WhatsApp and email.
• No further infringements were found after Delivery Hero acquired full control of Glovo in July 2022.
• The investigation stemmed from unannounced inspections in June 2022 and November 2023 and was formally opened in July 2024.
