Etihad Returns to Peshawar With Five Weekly Abu Dhabi Flights

Airport officials frame the route as a push to deepen Gulf links following recent security upgrades.

Overview

  • Flight EY276 from Abu Dhabi landed in Peshawar with a water salute, marking Etihad’s first arrival at Bacha Khan International Airport since 2014.
  • Etihad is operating five weekly services on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, with return flight EY277 departing Peshawar at 8:00.
  • The published schedule lists EY276 at 02:20–06:30 into Peshawar and EY277 at 08:00–10:25 back to Abu Dhabi, operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.
  • Etihad becomes the third international carrier to commence service at the airport in 2025, following Fly Dubai and Flyadeal.
  • The Pakistan Airports Authority ties the expansion to a connectivity strategy backed by recent upgrades, including a reported $15 million security enhancement, and Etihad says the route goes daily from 20 November.
