Overview

• Officers moved to stop a gray Audi around 22:00 at Amixstraße and Helenenstraße, where the driver briefly halted to let his girlfriend out before fleeing.
• The pursuit went through Niederfeldstraße, Devensstraße and Wordstraße back toward Amixstraße, with the driver running a red light and entering the one-way Husmannshofstraße against traffic.
• In a sharp right turn the driver lost control, left the roadway and came to a stop on a nearby meadow, where police arrested him.
• On-scene checks indicated suspected drug impairment, a lack of a valid driver’s license, a stolen plate on the car and no insurance, and officers collected blood samples.
• Police say he now faces allegations including drug-impaired driving, driving without a license, speeding, insurance-law violations and suspected forgery, with the car and plates secured as the investigation continues.
