ESPN reporter fired after derogatory comment towards colleague caught on video

ESPN national baseball reporter Marly Rivera was fired after calling fellow female reporter Ivón Gaete a derogatory term at Yankee Stadium.
Rivera had worked at ESPN for 13 years covering MLB in English and Spanish.
The incident occurred during an argument over an Aaron Judge interview both reporters were attempting to conduct.
Though Rivera apologized, Gaete refused to accept it and the altercation was caught on video.
Rivera feels she is being singled out by a rival though she has taken responsibility for her actions.
