ESPN Launches Standalone Streaming Service With Two Tiers Ahead of College Football Kickoff

Overview

  • ESPN debuts two plans: Unlimited with access to all ESPN networks and Select focused on ESPN+ and additional rights.
  • Pricing is set at $29.99 per month or $299.99 per year for Unlimited and $11.99 per month or $119.99 per year for Select.
  • Unlimited promises access to more than 47,000 live events annually, with Select topping 32,000, spanning NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, WWE, major golf and tennis, college sports, and more.
  • Bundles include a Disney+/Hulu/ESPN Unlimited promo ($29.99 per month for 12 months), an NFL+ Premium package with RedZone starting Sept. 3 ($39.99), and an ESPN Unlimited–Fox One bundle on Oct. 2 ($39.99).
  • Existing ESPN+ customers are being moved to the Select tier, and both ESPN and Fox say authenticated pay‑TV subscribers can stream their services at no extra cost.
