Overview

  • Both ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service and Fox One launch individually on August 21 with introductory prices of $29.99 and $19.99 per month, respectively.
  • The combined bundle becomes available October 2 at $39.99 per month, saving subscribers about $10 compared with separate subscriptions.
  • ESPN’s offering includes all of its linear networks, roughly 47,000 live events annually and newly expanded NFL and WWE premium live-event rights.
  • Fox One provides live and on-demand access to Fox’s sports channels alongside Fox News, Fox Business, Fox Weather, local stations and entertainment programming.
  • Some infrastructure from the abandoned Venu Sports joint venture is being repurposed for Fox One as both companies seek to extend their streaming reach without replacing their linear operations.
