Overview

  • ESPN and Fox One will each debut on August 21 with standalone subscriptions priced at $29.99 and $19.99 per month.
  • Consumers can buy the combined package for $39.99 per month starting October 2, saving $10 compared to separate plans.
  • Subscribers gain access to ESPN’s full suite of linear channels, ESPN+, and digital platforms alongside Fox Sports, Fox News, Fox Business and Fox broadcast content.
  • Former Venu lead Pete Distad and other assets from the abandoned joint venture are being redeployed to build Fox One’s infrastructure and operations.
  • Analysts note the deal could attract regulatory scrutiny given past antitrust challenges tied to live-sports aggregation.
