Overview
- YEIDA has officially allotted about 190–200 acres in Sector-10 of the Yamuna Expressway to Escorts Kubota, formalising the site for the greenfield project.
- The venture’s total investment stands at ₹4,500 crore, with the first phase dedicating ₹2,000 crore to develop a tractor plant, commercial equipment facility and allied infrastructure.
- Production at the new complex will focus on tractors, engines and farm and construction machinery destined for both domestic markets and exports.
- Shared services for Kubota’s global research and development operations will be operated from the plant, reinforcing India–Japan industrial collaboration.
- The project is projected to create around 4,000 jobs across successive phases, with further expansion linked to market demand and capacity utilisation.
