Overview

• Shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday, a man riding a bicycle was struck and killed by a Honda Accord on East Valley Parkway about 100 feet west of Ash Street.
• The driver of the Honda Accord remained at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators.
• Officers say alcohol and drugs are not considered factors in the collision.
• Authorities are withholding the victim’s identity pending family notification.
