Escaped Plumas County Inmate Captured at Home After Month-Long Manhunt

His escape led to a lockdown of a local school and a month-long manhunt involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
Duerr was found at his residence in Johnsville, California, 25 miles from the jail, following a tip-off to authorities.
The FBI and local SWAT teams coordinated his arrest, which concluded peacefully with Duerr surrendering without incident.
