Escaped Philadelphia Prisoner Captured Over 200 Miles Away

Alleem Bordan was arrested in Johnstown after a multi-day manhunt following his escape from police custody.

Alleem Bordan, 29, was arrested in Johnstown, Cambria County, over 200 miles from where he initially escaped police custody outside a Philadelphia hospital.
Bordan was discovered hiding in an attic crawlspace and was forcibly removed by U.S. Marshals before being taken to Cambria County Prison.
The escapee had been on the run since Monday, having managed to remove the handcuffs he was wearing at the time of his escape.
Bordan has a history of criminal activity, including a previous attempt to escape police custody in 2020.
