- Authorities said Cooper was arrested Monday night in Louisville after being transported there by Marlana and William Strausbaugh.
- The Strausbaughs were also arrested and booked on hindering prosecution or apprehension charges, according to the Mason County Sheriff's Office.
- Cooper escaped the Brown County Adult Detention Center on Sept. 15 with Roy Butler, then crossed the Ohio River in a stolen paddleboat before the pair split up in Dover, Kentucky.
- Butler was captured the next day, while the search for Cooper had focused on more than 1,200 acres of dense woodland between Tuckahoe Road and Lee’s Creek Road.
- Before the escape, Cooper, 48, was being held on charges tied to an alleged murder-for-hire plot, including attempted murder, as the FBI offered up to $10,000 for information.
