Overview

  • Russian forces launched 208 drones and 27 missiles at Ukraine’s frontline regions overnight, igniting fires in residential buildings, farms and a shopping center and killing at least three people in the Dnipro area.
  • Ukraine’s air defenses intercepted 183 Russian drones and 17 missiles, but strikes still wounded dozens of civilians—including a 12-year-old girl—in Kharkiv, Sumy and Dnipro and damaged power lines and public buildings.
  • Ukrainian drones attacked the Rostov and Stavropol regions, killing two people and damaging an industrial facility, and a separate drone crash in Sochi’s Adler district killed two civilians and injured 11.
  • Russia’s air defenses downed 54 Ukrainian drones over Bryansk, Rostov, Crimea and other areas, and civil aviation briefly halted flights into Kaluga, Vladikavkaz and Grozny for security.
  • President Zelenskyy vowed to intensify long-range drone strikes against Russian military enterprises, logistics hubs and airfields and urged Western allies to accelerate delivery of advanced air defense systems.
