Errors in German Federal Election as Wrong Ballots Distributed in Trier and Essen

In Essen, over 230 incorrect ballots were distributed across two polling stations, invalidating the affected first-choice votes.
The printing error originated from a printing company in North Rhine-Westphalia that supplies ballots to multiple regions.
Authorities, including the Landeswahlleiter, have been informed, and the invalid ballots will be excluded during the vote count.
