Overview

• The theft occurred on October 9 at about 15:15 after the victim exited a bus at the Waldkrankenhaus stop and began crossing Rathsberger Straße.
• An unknown man approached from behind, grabbed the handbag, then fled toward a nearby forest, and the woman was not injured.
• Immediate searches involving multiple Erlangen-Stadt police patrols did not find the suspect, who remains at large.
• Police describe the suspect as male, about 175 cm tall, wearing a light jacket, dark trousers and a black baseball cap, and carrying a black and blue backpack plus a red bag.
