• TSA agents at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport discovered a loaded .380-caliber pistol in Banks’s Louis Vuitton carry-on on August 6.
• Officers ran the weapon’s serial number and determined it was reported stolen in 2018 from Greenville, South Carolina.
• Banks was booked into Clayton County Jail at 9:50 p.m. and released without bond just over an hour later.
• Attorney Jackie Patterson maintains Banks was unaware of the gun’s stolen status and will file to have the felony charge dismissed.
