Epigamia Co-Founder Rohan Mirchandani Passes Away at 41 Due to Cardiac Arrest

Rohan Mirchandani, co-founder of Epigamia and CEO of Drums Food International, died on December 21, 2024, at the age of 41 from a sudden cardiac arrest.
Epigamia's leadership, including COO Ankur Goel and co-founder Uday Thakker, will continue to oversee the company's operations with the support of the board and Mirchandani's family.
Mirchandani, educated at NYU's Stern School of Business and Wharton, founded Epigamia in 2013, revolutionizing India's FMCG market with products like Greek yogurt and plant-based alternatives.
The company, which has received investments from Verlinvest, Danone, and actress Deepika Padukone, has pledged to honor Mirchandani's vision and drive his legacy forward.
His passing follows the recent deaths of other startup leaders, highlighting concerns over health challenges within the entrepreneurial community.
