Epic Games Lowers Unreal Engine Royalty Fees for Simultaneous Epic Store Releases

The 'Launch Everywhere with Epic' program offers reduced royalty rates for Unreal Engine games launched on the Epic Games Store and other platforms simultaneously.
The new royalty rate of 3.5% will apply starting January 1, 2025, provided the game is available on the Epic Games Store at launch.
If a game is not available on the Epic Games Store for its corresponding platform, the royalty rate reverts to 5%.
Epic is temporarily waiving the simultaneous release requirement for iOS developers due to Apple's Core Technology Fee.
This initiative aims to attract more developers to the Epic Games Store, including its newly launched Android and iOS platforms.
