Fortnite Festival, a Music Game Mode Developed by Harmonix

The new mode allows players to perform popular songs using game controllers or mouse and keyboard, with plans to integrate old Rock Band instruments in the future.

Epic Games has launched Fortnite Festival, a new mode within Fortnite that allows players to perform popular songs using game controllers or mouse and keyboard, similar to the gameplay of Rock Band.
The Festival mode was developed by Harmonix, the studio behind Guitar Hero, which Epic Games acquired in 2021.
Fortnite Festival will feature two stages: the main stage, which recreates the Rock Band experience, and the jam stage, which allows players to mix parts of popular songs together.
At launch, Fortnite Festival will have around 15 songs available, with plans to add hundreds more within the first year.
Harmonix developers have expressed hopes to integrate old Rock Band instruments into Fortnite Festival in the future.
