Overview
- The month-long Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0 runs from November 1 to 30, with those aged 80 and above allowed to submit from October 1 to avoid any pause in pension credits.
- EPFO has tied up with India Post Payments Bank to provide free doorstep Digital Life Certificate submission for EPS-95 pensioners via its nationwide network of post offices and postal staff.
- Officials said more than 21 lakh Digital Life Certificates were generated in the first four days of the campaign.
- Pensioners can submit through multiple channels including the Jeevan Pramaan portal or app, the UMANG app, Common Service Centres, bank branches, IPPB camps and doorstep visits.
- Face authentication is being promoted across partner institutions, with SBI scheduling camps in 115 cities and 575 branches, and Western Railway conducting awareness activities.
