Overview
- Effective November 1, 2025, employers can declare eligible workers through the EPFO portal during a window open until April 2026.
- The scheme covers employees left out of EPF between July 1, 2017 and October 31, 2025, enabling regularisation of past compliance.
- For the declared period, employers must pay only the employer share plus administrative charges if the employee share was not previously deducted.
- All establishments, regardless of existing EPF coverage, are eligible to use the declaration facility.
- The launch at EPFO’s 73rd Foundation Day in New Delhi also spotlighted service upgrades, including the forthcoming EPFO 3.0 platform, in support of broader PMVBRY formalisation goals.
