Overview

  • Cast members and annual passholders have begun preview rides through a virtual queue ahead of Test Track 3.0’s July 22 public reopening.
  • Walt Disney Imagineering retained the original 1999 track layout while installing new show scenes, projections and a curated GM concept car showcase in place of the former design-your-car station.
  • Designers added immersive sensory touches including a pine scent in alpine scenes and a soft instrumental callback to the World of Motion theme song.
  • Ride vehicles have been revamped with matte black paint and blue accents and feature a new on-ride photo backdrop of a futuristic cityscape.
