Overview
- Disney announced Tuesday that on Monday, Sept. 21, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will play Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” for every ride all day.
- The Parks Blog confirmed Star‑Lord meet‑and‑greet times will be posted in My Disney Experience and Connections Café and Eatery will offer a one‑day Supernova Sip with an adult version available.
- Guests can buy Guardians‑themed merchandise at Treasures of Xandar outside the ride, while the specialty drink is explicitly a one‑day offering.
- Multiple outlets say the guaranteed soundtrack and added experiences are likely to concentrate attendance and recommend using app scheduling or Lightning Lane passes to reduce wait times.
- Cosmic Rewind normally selects one of six licensed songs at random, and this return of the Sept. 21 tradition follows prior years when Disney suspended the ride’s usual randomness to guarantee the “September” soundtrack.
