Overview

• Metal swing gates have returned to several tap-styles at EPCOT’s World Celebration main entrance after a brief removal in August.
• The gates now appear to rest in the open position, reversing the earlier closed default observed when they were first installed.
• Two gates are currently in place on both the left and right sides of the entrance plaza, and additional locations are blocked by temporary stanchions as crews stage more work.
• Most central tap-points that are typically used during normal operations do not yet have gates installed.
• Walt Disney World has made no public announcement about the changes, the potential rollout to International Gateway remains unclear, and parking-lot refurbishments continue with much of the Moana section closed for repaving and repainting.
