EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Readies for Nov. 28 Opening as Decor, Stages and Food Booths Go Up
Visible build-out across the park indicates the festival is ready to begin later this week.
Overview
- A new entrance display is in place with a sign reading “EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Presented by AdventHealth,” framed by poinsettias and holiday icons.
- CommuniCore Plaza’s stage is dressed for JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season, with signage noting elements of Kwanzaa and Christmas.
- The Odyssey pavilion features holiday image panels and new signs for “Meet Santa Goofy” and the “Holiday Hearth Desserts” installation.
- World Showcase preparations include food booths and storyteller areas such as Las Posadas in Mexico, Bavaria in Germany, Tuscany, L’Chaim and Le Marché de Noël near France, Yukon in Canada, and staging for the Candlelight Processional at American Gardens Theatre.
- Park entrances and shops display garlands, oversized globe ornaments and lit trees, while kiosks like Holiday Sweets & Treats are set for service.
