Overview

• Officers responded around 8:45 a.m. Friday to the Rolling Meadows Apartments after a neighbor reported 2- and 4-year-old children screaming for their mother.
• Neighbors entered through an unlocked front door and found the children alone, with one reportedly inside a closet.
• Body camera video shows trash, bugs, and piles of animal feces throughout the apartment, according to police.
• The 25-year-old returned from babysitting at a relative’s unit and was arrested on felony child abuse and child neglect complaints.
• She remains in police custody, the children are with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, and KOCO is withholding her name pending formal charges.
