ENHYPEN Fan Arrested for Misusing Boarding Pass at Changi Airport

A 25-year-old woman was detained for entering the airport's transit area without plans to travel, aiming to meet the K-pop group ENHYPEN.

A fan was arrested on January 22 for allegedly misusing a boarding pass to enter Changi Airport's transit area to meet ENHYPEN.
The woman had no intention of leaving Singapore, violating the Infrastructure Protection Act 2017.
ENHYPEN had performed in Singapore on January 20 and 21 as part of their world tour.
The police reminded the public that the airport's transit areas are protected places, with concerts featuring international artists scheduled in the coming months.
Misusing boarding passes in Singapore is punishable by up to two years in jail and/or a fine of up to $20,000.
