England’s Major Roads to Close Overnight This Weekend for Safety Upgrades

Overview

  • Hampshire drivers face M3 entry and exit slip road closures at Junction 5 from 9pm Friday to 6am Saturday and an eastbound exit slip closure at Junction 2 between 11pm Friday and 6am Saturday.
  • Essex motorists will see the M25 clockwise carriageway between Junctions 25 and 27 closed from 11pm Friday to 5am Saturday alongside overnight slip closures at Junctions 28–31 for technology, maintenance and bridge works.
  • Sussex’s weekend works include M23 carriageway closures between Junctions 10 and 12 from 8pm Friday to 6am Saturday, A23 exit slip closures at Pyecombe and A27 drainage improvement closures from Devil’s Dyke to Coldean Lane on Friday night.
  • Saturday and Sunday nights bring additional motorway closures including M3 slip closures at Junctions 7 and 11 for drainage and barrier repairs, M27 eastbound carriageway closures between Junctions 12 and Portsbridge, A12 electrical works at Junction 27 slip roads and a QEII bridge closure at the Dartford Crossing.
