Overview
- Inep made the Cartão de Confirmação available on Tuesday, October 27, so candidates can now log into the Página do Participante with a Gov.br account to see their assigned test location.
- The government published Gov.br account recovery options — including facial recognition, bank authentication, email, SMS or a support form — and students reported temporary slowdowns on the Página do Participante after the card was released.
- Operational rules are fixed: the Enem will be held on Sunday, November 8 and 15, gates open 12:00–13:00 (Brasília time), tests start at 13:30, the first day lasts 5h30 and the second 5h, only official digital IDs in their apps are accepted, candidates must use a transparent black‑ink ballpoint pen, and electronic devices must be switched off and sealed in the envelope provided or risk elimination.
- Inep confirmed 5,055,818 registrations for 2026 and public‑school students who are concluding high school were automatically enrolled but still had to confirm participation, choose the exam municipality and select their foreign‑language option.
- Established by Decreto nº 12.915/2026, the Enem will feed the Saeb system to diagnose learning at the end of high school, the Pé‑de‑Meia program offers an extra R$200 to concluintes who attend both days, and full results by school or network are expected in 2027 if minimum participation rates are met.
