Enel Investing Over $1 Billion in Oklahoma Solar Panel Factory, Creating 1,000 Jobs

Enel SpA announced plans to build one of the largest solar panel factories in the US in Oklahoma.
The factory is expected to produce 3 gigawatts of solar panels annually and employ 1,000 people by 2025.
Enel will invest over $1 billion in the new facility, which is set to begin operations by the end of 2024.
The announcement comes after the passage of new climate change legislation and tax incentives for renewable energy in the US.
Enel already has more than 2 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity in Oklahoma from 13 wind farms.
