• The affected lots were distributed July 18 through August 4 to retailers and distributors in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Florida.
• Positive results for Listeria monocytogenes came from state sampling of finished products at a Pennsylvania distributor.
• No illnesses have been reported to date, though the bacterium poses higher risk to pregnant people, older adults, and individuals with weakened immune systems.
