Endico Recalls Two Frozen Vegetable Lots After Listeria Found in State Tests

Affected bags carry specific lot codes printed on the side, allowing consumers to check freezers and seek refunds.

Overview

  • The voluntary recall covers 2.5-pound Endico Peas & Carrots and Mixed Vegetables after Pennsylvania distributor sampling detected Listeria monocytogenes.
  • Impacted lots are Peas & Carrots lot 110625 (use by June 10, 2027) and Mixed Vegetables lot 170625 (use by June 16, 2027).
  • Products were distributed July 18 to Aug. 4 through local distributors in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Florida.
  • No illnesses have been reported; consumers should not eat the recalled items and may return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
  • Endico has stopped distribution as it works with the FDA to investigate the contamination, which poses higher risk to pregnant people, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems.
