Endesa Delivers 30% H1 Profit Gain and Rules Out Blackout Responsibility

Strong performance reflects liberalized markets following the lapse of a temporary energy tax.

Overview

  • Net profit rose 30.1% year-on-year to €1.041 billion in the first half as revenues grew 4.5% to €10.880 billion and EBITDA climbed 12.3% to €2.711 billion.
  • Free cash flow doubled to €2.4 billion supporting organic investments and dividends while net financial debt increased 6.5% to €9.901 billion.
  • Endesa reconfirmed its 2025 guidance for ordinary net profit of €1.9–2.0 billion and EBITDA of €5.4–5.6 billion alongside continued grid and renewable spending.
