Enbridge Commits $700 Million to New Pipelines in Gulf of Mexico

The project will support BP's Kaskida development with crude oil and natural gas pipelines expected to be operational by 2029.

Enbridge plans to build the Canyon Oil Pipeline System with a capacity of 200,000 barrels per day.
The crude oil pipeline will connect the Keathley Canyon area to Shell's Green Canyon 19 platform, targeting the Louisiana market.
A natural gas pipeline, the Canyon Gathering System, will have a capacity of 125 million cubic feet per day.
Design and procurement activities for the pipelines are set to begin early next year.
This investment strengthens Enbridge's position in the Gulf of Mexico, enhancing its portfolio to meet growing global energy demand.
