En Boga Captures Top Prize at 50th International Fideuà Competition

The evening format at Moll dels Borja highlighted Gandia’s growing culinary allure with hundreds of spectators.

  • En Boga from València secured first prize and received the Santa Isabel collar from Mayor José Manuel Prieto.
  • El Nàutic of Oliva claimed second place while Gastro Arrocería Atlantis from Santa Cruz de Tenerife finished third.
  • Chef Max Saint Martin of the French Antilles won best orange dessert, CDT Alicante was named best cooking school, and Japan’s Juguem was recognized as top foreign participant.
  • The jury was led by chef Evarist Miralles and included Michelin-starred chefs Juan Valls, Susi Díaz, Kiko Moya and pastry master Paco Torreblanca.
  • The night-time competition kicked off Gandia’s gastronomic festival with the Tasta Gandia event scheduled from June 6 to 8.
